The Anatomy of the Mind

            The mind has a certain anatomy.  It follows certain rules.  It hosts certain mechanisms.

            I bet you don’t know what they are.  That’s because almost nobody knows what they are.

            You’re not going to believe this, but psychologists stopped studying the mind nearly 100 years ago.  Open any current psychology textbook. 

Everybody has a mind.  Almost everybody thinks.  But you look in vain in a pscyhology text to find out:

• what a mind is;
• what it contains;
• what you can do if your mind isn’t working well;
• what you can do if you something in your mind that don’t want to have there;
• what you can do about the things that are in other people’s minds.
